West Ridge Elementary PTO

ACTIVITIES COMMITTEE

The Activities Committee for the West Ridge Elementary PTO is responsible for planning and carrying out fun family events for West Ridge Students and sometimes the surrounding community.  Past events the Activities Committee has carried out include: 

Family Game Night

Spirit Nights

This year we would like to plan monthly events at even more venues to offer something fun for everyone and to keep our school involved with our community.  Many of our events do raise small amounts of money for the PTO and West Ridge Elementary, but the events are specifically designed to be affordable for our school families and are not considered fundraisers.

FUNDRAISING COMMITTEE 

The fundraising committee is an integral part of generating and raising revenue for the PTO and for West Ridge Elementary. The committee works annually to creatively find the best way to raise revenue to support our children's school and their education. Fundraising events are held throughout the year and include but are not limited to:

    * Fall fundraisers 

    * Box Tops, Tyson A+ Labels, Milk caps for Moola and King Soopers cards

 This committee is a great way to get involved in the school while working with the teachers, the staff and the community to support the financial component of the PTO. The fundraisers often raise lots of money, but also create memories of fun shared by students, peers, families and our wonderful teaching staff. 

HOSPITALITY COMMITEE

This committee is set up to manage all of the meals/food provided at all school activities put on by the PTO.  Planning of teacher meals and other food items needed to support school function.

As you can see, this committee is very rewarding. We have fun and enjoy organizing and being a part of the events here at school. If you have enthusiasm, love to organize and truly want to help give back to the school, this is the place for you! Catch the Wildcat spirit and come aboard!
